(Bloomberg) — Bianca Taylor, a former senior sovereign strategist for Latin America at Loomis Sayles & Co., has started a research and consultancy firm catering to new international investors entering the region with a focus on ESG.
* Taylor’s Tourmaline Group will offer services for longer-term investors who are unfamiliar with the market and firms that are already active there, but looking for advice on how to navigate its different political and economic environments, she said in an interview.
* Boston-based Taylor will also offer sovereign research starting at the end of this year
** Plans to hire economists and sector specialists based in Brazil at the beginning of next year

** Before joining Loomis, Taylor worked as a senior macro strategist at Pantera Capital Management and a sovereign credit analyst at Franklin Templeton
